Guido Stilon (1932 – 1975) was active in photography between 1952 and 1975. He captured the character of the Islands through a turbulent period of change and uncertainty, and his negatives are now safely preserved within the National Archives of Malta. Two books have been published regarding the Guido Stilon collection, both by MIPA, namely Images of a Bygone Malta – Guido Stilon volumes I and II. The collection is still covered by copyright in its entirety.
